I am confident that I have correctly configured my breadboard because I have successfully executed an example code that reads the state of the MCP23017 and gives feed back over the serial monitor. I'm confident my short comings on this project is my lack of understanding the code. HOWEVER when I try to integrate the MCP23017 to add additional I/O Ports i fall flat on my face. With current equipment I have successfully created a keyboard emulator WITH JUST the Leonardo board. Im trying to create a keyboard emulator with the Leonardo while incorporating the MCP23017 IC. I was hoping the community might be able to help me a bit. 1st i want to take a sec and thank you for reading this tread. ![]()
